Day 6:

This is a picture of the old Mascot Mine perched on Nickel Plate Mtn. in Hedley, B.C. When I showed this picture to some mine workers in Ontario they were shocked. They were used to open pit mines and were amazed to see this tiny little hole in a mountain giving entrance to the treasures within. I didn't feel like doing a tour of the facility when I passed through but I think that the next time I am out that way I will check it out.
