Day 7:

You can see in this picture the reason your apples in the grocery store are all beautiful and unblemished unlike the ones you grow on your trees at home. I asked my host what was being sprayed and he looked closely and said that it was just oil and not pesticides. I asked him how he could tell and he said the if the guy driving was in a full body suit with a respirator it was chemical but otherwise it was just oil. The sad thing is that right next door (and downwind) of this field is a retirement home.
