Day 15:

The locals view them as big rats with hooves. They get into your garbage, they eat your flower gardens and heaven forbid you get too close during mating season when they are aggressive. However they are a real cash cow with the tourists…. I think it's Disney's fault again. I have heard of tourists plunking their kid down in front of a 1200 lb bull elk so they can get a nice picture. They don't notice that the hair on its neck is standing up, the ears back, and large eyes. They have no idea how close little Timmy or Gunther or Qian Lee got to being stomped. Stupidity and wild animals do not go together well.
